Tendli Potato bhaji (Ivy gourd with potatoes)

Tendli, potato bhaji (Ivy Gourd with Potatoes)



Ingredients:

1) Tendli (Ivy Gourd)- 250 gms Sliced
2) Potatoes- 5 nos peeled and sliced
3) Drumsticks- 2nos  cut in 2 inches 
4) Oil- 1 tbspn
5) Jeera (cumin seeds)- 1/2 tsp
6) Onion- 1/2 sliced
7) Garlic cloves- 5 to 7 mashed
8)Turmeric Powder- 1 tsp
9) Red chilli Powder- 1/2 tsp
10) Coriander Powder- 2 tsp
11) Jeera Powder (cumin seed Powder)- 1 tsp
12) Salt to taste
13) Coriander leaves (for garnishing)

Method:

1) Take a wok, put oil n heat the oil
2) As soon as the oil is heated, add cumin seeds

3) Add potatoes and stir well for 1/2 min or so.
4)Add Tendli and drumstick and stir well.

5) Put a lid and let it cook. Keep stirring after every 2 mins.
6) After 6 mins add Onion and garlic

 7) Cook for another 5 mins with lid on.
8) Now add turmeric powder, Red chillie Powder, Coriander Powder, Jeera Powder and Salt and stir well

9) Let it cook for another 4 mins
10) You are done. Add Coriander leaves for garnishing and serve hot.

Moong Dal Soup (yellow Lentils)

Moong Dal Soup

Ingredients:

Moond Dal (split yellow lentil)- 1 cup
Carrot- 1 No
Tomato - 1 No
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Turmeric Powder- A Pinch
Salt- to taste
Black Pepper Powder- 1/2 tspn
Coriander Leaves- few chopped finely.



Method:

Put dal, tomato, carrot and ginger in pressure cooker
Add water 3 cups
Close the cooker and let 4 whistles go.
Turn the gas off
Open the cooker after 10-15 mins
Grind the mixture in grinder
Add, salt, turmeric powder and Black Pepper Powder 
Mix well
Add coriander leaves
And Enjoy

Egg curry with coconut milk

Egg Curry With Coconut Milk



Ingredients: (serves 2):

Eggs- 4 Nos (boiled)
Onion - 1 No (finely chopped)
Tomato- 1 No (finely chopped)
Ginger- 3 tsps
Garlic- 3 tsps
Red chillie- 2 nos
Coriander Powder 3 tsps
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Garam Masala- 1 stp
Jeera- 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves- few (washed and chopped)
Oil- 2 tbspns
Coconut Milk- 2 Bowls
Coriander leaves- 1tbsp (washed and finely chopped)
Salt to taste

Method:

1) Heat a wok, put oil 
2) Put mustard seeds and let it splatter
3) Put Jeera immediately after mustard seeds splatter
4) Put curry leaves and red chillies
5) Put Onion and saute it for 1 min
6) Put ginger, garlic and tomatoes and saute it for 2 mins
7) Put all the masalas like Coriander powder, red chillie powder, Garam masala and saute for 1/2 min
8) Make sure all the tomatoes are smashed properly
9) Add coconut milk and cook for 5 mins stirring occasionally
10) Add boiled eggs cut in half.
11) Add salt and stir well.
12) sprinkle with coriander leaves and you are done.

Enjoy with Rice or chapatis

Veg Lasagne ( Garlic Potato, Spinach and Broccoli)

Veg Lasagne (Garlic Potato, Spinach and Broccoli) (serves 2)

It might seem a lot of work but trust lasagne is the easiest thing to make.
There are 4 steps which i have made in here do follow those.
I have mentioned the actual sequence in the end of blog just to make it easy for you :)
Enjoy
1) Ingredients for filling :

1) Broccoli- 100 gms
2) Potatos - 4 no (peeled, boiled and crushed)
3) Spinach - (1/2 Bunch)
4) Butter- 4 to 8 tsps
5) Olive oil- 7 to 8 tsps
6) Pepper Powder- 4 tsps
7) Salt to taste
8) Garlic- 1/2 cup crushed
Method of Filling: 
1) Heat a wok add 1 tsp butter, 1 tsp olive oil.
2) Saute broccoli.
3) Add 11/2 tsp garlic
4) 1/2 tsp pepper powder 
5) Salt to taste
6) Cook it half way Properly
7) Remove in one bowla nd keep aside.
8) Repeat same with Spinach and Potatos


2) Ingredients for Sauce:

1) Onion-1 no (chopped finely)
2) tomato -2 no (chopped finely)
3) Tomato ketchup ( 1 cup)
4) red chilli powder- 1 tsp
5) garlic (peeled cruched)- 3 tsp
6) Sugar- 1/2 tsp
7) Black Pepper Power- 1/2 tsp
8) salt to taste.
9) Olive Oil - 1 tbsp

Method of making sauce:
1) Heat a wok. add oil
2) Add Onion and saute it for 1 min
3) Add tomatoes and Saute for another 2 m ins
4 Add garlic, Black pepper powder, Red chilli Powder and sugar
5) Add tomato Ketchup and saute for another 2 mins
6) Add salt to taste.
7) Remove the sauce in bowl and keep aside.



3) Ingredients for Lasagne Noodles:

1) Maida (all Purpose flour)- 1 cup
2) Baking Powder (1/2 tsp)
3) Egg- 1 no
4) salt to taste
5) Olive Oil (2 tsps)
6) Water (as needed)

Method of Making lasagne noodles:
1) Add all the ingrediant except for water and mix well.
2) Add water and make a dough.
3) Lt the dough Rest for 20 mins.
4) Make small balls of dough and roll them into flat sheet and cut them in size of rectangles and keep aside
5) Boil water in a huge pan
6) Put these flat sheets into boiling water and cook for 8 mins (be careful while putting in water)
7) After 8 mins shift the sheets in cold water.
8) Lasagne noodles sheets are ready.

4) Settimg the Whole Lasagne and baking: (here you'll need cheese slice sheets) :

1) Take a baking bowl preferably rectangle one
2) Add a layer of sauce.
3) add lasagne sheet.
4) Add potato Layering.
5) Add cheese slices
6) Add Broccoli Layering
7) Add Sauce Layering
8) Add Lasagne Sheet Layering
9) Add potato Layering
10) Add Cheese Layering
11) Add Spinach Layering
12) Add Sauce Layering
13) Add Lasagne Sheet Layering
14) Add Remaining Sauce Layering
15) Add Cheese slice Layering
16) Top it up with Red Chiili flakes or Black Pepper Flakes
17) Put these Bowl in microwave n bake it for 20mins
18) You are ready to eat
19) Relish and Enjoy.




Easy and Actual sequence to make life easy:
1) Peel and keep the potatos for boiling
2) Make dough and keep it for resting
3) Saute vegetaables and keep aside
4) Make sauce and keep aside
5) Make flat sheets of dough and boil them in water
6) Set the Layers in baking bowl
7) Bake it
8) Enjoy to the core.

Tangy Paneer (Cottage Cheese)

The most simple 5 mins recipe ever!!!



Ingredients:

250 gms- Paneer (cottage Cheese) (cut in pieces)

4- Green Chillies (chopped)

1/2 tsp- Cumin seeds

2 tsp - Oil

5 to 6 Curry leaves (optional)

2- Big Tomatoes (chopped thin)

1/2 cup- Coriander leaves( Finely Chopped)

1/2 tsp - Pepper Powder (Optional)

Salt to taste

Method:

1) Take n Wok heat it and add Oil

2) When Oil is hot add, Cumin seeds, green chillies and Curry leaves

3) Add Tomatoes immediately (Be careful as oil can splatter)

4) Keep stirring the tomatoes and also mashing the tomatoes while stirring.

5) After 5 mins when tomatoes are done add Paneer, black pepper, Salt and coriander leaves and stir well

6) Cook for another 2 mins and done

7) Ready to be served with chapatis or bread or as a roll filling.

Batatachya chi bhaji (potato vegetable)

Yummy, nutritious, delicious and super easy potato recipe.

Ingredients:

4 big potatoes (peeled, boiled and cut in pieces)
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 Pinch Asafoetida
green chilli (2 large chopped finely)
Turmeric Powder (1 tsp)
salt to taste
1 tbsp curry leaves (chopped)
1 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)

Method:

1) Peel and boil Potatoes and chop them
2) take one hot bottom vessel
3) Put 2 tsp clarified butter (ghee)
4) when in heats add mustard seeds and let it splatter
5) Add cumin seeds
6) Add asafoetida (pinch)
7) Add curry leaves and chillies
8) After 1/2 minute add Potatoes, turmeric powder, salt and Coriander leaves and Stir well
9) Ready to serve :)

Beans Potato Pattice Minus Oil

Health is the most loved treasure of our life. No Health no Money, and no money no good food. So health is our priority.
Today i am gonna give you a small, quick amazing recipe, where you can cherish every bite of healthy life :)

Beans Potato Pattice Minus Oil:

Ingredients:

2 Big Potatoes (peeled and Boiled)
1 Cup French Beans ( Chopped and Boiled)
1 Carrot (Peeled and Boiled)
1/2 cup Tomato Ketchup
1 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped)
4 Brown Bread
Sesame seeds (1tsp)
Semolina 1 tbsp
Black Pepper Powder (Pinch or two) (optional)
Salk to taste

Method:
Peel Potatoes and carrot
Chop French Beans
Boil Beans, Potatoes and carrot together
After boiling keep the water aside and veggies in one big bowl
Mash the veggies
Add salt, coriander and ketchup to this veggies and mix well
Add bread in them
Mix well till it is a bit stiff
Make fall oval balls of this mixture
Mix sesame seeds ans semolina in one plate
Now coat the veggie balls in the semolina and sesame seeds mixture
Take a non stick pan
and roast the veggie balls for 5 to 7 mins
Ready to eat:)
